It’s day 8 and oh boy do I have a freaking update for you dear readers, a massive update filled with countless hours of pure gold content in a number of styles of flavors.
For today dear reader’s I am bringing to you a favorite past time of mine on the internet,
the glorious “Let’s Play”!
For the uninitiated, a let’s play is at its most basic a “play through” of game by someone/ people in some style to show off the game while hopefully entertaining the viewer.
While this sounds like a blanket,” ONLY VIDEO GAME FANS” its actually not.
Some are more game intensive than others but some weave their own story and comedy into the game making something more akin to a novel told through a game engine then merely just a game.
For this I will only show Let’s Plays from their original home Something Awful, as being of the jerky upper crust of Something Awful, I look with disdain at the pitiful pile of human refuse that lives on Youtube from high atop my ivory tower made from the tusks of elephants I’ve fairly beaten in fist fights.
Covering both video and screen shots styles of let’s playing, with a wide variety of games and styles, I will take you on a journey to I believe to be the best or most interesting both from a game stand point and a Let’s Play standpoint.
Gosh, with that finally out of the way let’s go with LET’S PLAYS!!!
