Now for something a little more accessible to gamers and non-gamers alike, the wonderfully crafted “Meet the Team” shorts created by Valve.

Originally created as ads for before the game came out, the “Meet the” shorts act as a funny way to introduce the 9 classes and their particular powers while injecting loads and loads of personality into a game with essentially no story.

From the humble beginnings of Meet the Heavy to the much longer and more complex Meet the Medic, each one is incredibly well made, hilarious, infinitely quotable, and creates characters with more personality then most blockbuster movies out there.

Above is the thrilling tale of “Meet the Spy” and as usual I’ll let the source material speak for its own brilliant self.

Below I’ll post the links for the rest of the shorts in chronological order, as they are best watched from the start as they have ramped up over the years.

Well, there wasn’t a story for TF2 when it was first released. It was just about two teams fighting for whatever reason....
